vocabulary free post

      Over the summer, I went on an awesome trip to Florida. I went to Disney World and while I was walking, the person in front of me dropped their hat. I had the virtue of picking it up and giving it back to him instead of letting the big crowd of people behind me step on it.

  Unfortunately, I lost the group of people I was with right after that. After being in a gigantic crowd of people I found my way out. I then saw the heads of everyone I was with. I rushed to them, but by the time I got there, they were gone again. After about 10 minutes of being by myself, I finally found them.

    Your trip to Disney World sounds like it was fun. The virtue that you showed was impressive and not done often by people nowadays.

   The few days we have had off from school have been very fun for my sister and I. On MLK day my sister was at her friends birthday party so I had the house to myself and I played Mario Kart until 2 AM. On Tuesday I played the Wii again with my sister for hours until we needed to do our school work.     On Wednesday (today) I jumped into my freezing cold pool and ran upstairs to the shower. Every step I took on the stairs my legs felt like they were breaking like thin ice. I am currently sitting in a hot tub writing this because I am still freezing!

ew semester reflection

      Three things I learned about being a student last semester are new things I haven't ever thought about. One thing is that I am now in high school. This means I have to start working towards my future. A second thing I learned is that I don't have to be silent constantly in class. I don't care what anyone thinks and it's actually really hard to get in big trouble in class which doesn't happen so no need to worry about it. The third thing I learned is to embrace where I am. Where I am in my studies, my location, my friendships etc.     My goals for this spring semester is to obviously make good grades. I also want to have a strong good bye and a long lasting connection to all the seniors I am friends with. I will miss the seniors I know very much because of all the stuff we have been through. Im played sports with some and became very close to some in my classes I have them with and would hang out after school somewhere fun and I hope I can continue that.

reading response to VOMEW

    A Very Old Man with Enormous Wings  is about an angel that was stopped by weather at a newborns house. This story is set on a beach with lots of crabs. It had been raining for a while and the old man angel was toppled by the rain. The angel seemed really nervous around everyone, but comfortable at the same time. This was the most unrealistic story which set a weird mood on it.    This story had a dark and gloomy setting. It was a kind of scary atmosphere with an old angel man. This was also during the winter season. The crowd that the angel had attracted seemed excited and curious. This was a really depressing story.
